Rhombus Pharma Private Limited: History And Journey.
In 1983, the Pharma sector was in its teenage years. Gujarat was developing by manufacturing the Pharma products in India as one of the main core centre. Previously multinationals were enjoying the market on monopole basis. They were selling their products at unbelievable higher prices to Indian poor public.
After receiving Pharma degree from Asia’s biggest college, L.M. college of Pharmacy of Gujarat University, I Mr. Dhirubhai Vaghani, promoted a Pharma company, determining to lead the company to become the biggest company by all means providing quality medicines to poor mankind in India. Company was struggling during 1983 to 1995 having a small unit in corner district of Gujarat. Then after I got a vision to shift the working and a giant manufacturing unit in Ahmedabad a core centre of Pharma. The land was acquired in kalol area, 20km away from Ahmedabad. It was a big jump of the company building a manufacturing house architacturing in a way to set up the plant and machinery having 20 times more spare capacity to manufacture all class of the Pharma formulation products. The plant was built up considering all the factors to fulfil the norms like GMP, schedule M, WHO.
